Leather waistcoat
The waistcoat was separated from the underwear in the XVIth century and became visible, but its usage extended at the end of the XVIIth century, replacing the vest. The success came from the subserviency and the possibility to decorate it like the vests were decorated. It is one of the most special pieces of Helvien. On the festive black housebaize appear two decorating shapes, too. The trim is completed with a leatherwelt, that not only looks handsome, but it is also practical.
